I bought your trapcode suit, but the mir is to heavy for my laptop so I am investing in a workstation. What kind of graphics card do you recommend?
What kind if card is in the laptop?
Intel GPUs are not supported. We recommend recent nvidia or AMD. On my desktop I have an nvidia GTX 580 (a "gamers card") cheap (relatively!) and really powerful. Of course if you can get a newer one that is even better, but will cost more.
On my laptop I have an nvidia NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB and it works great for Mir. If you have a laptop with multiple GPU's, make sure it uses the better one (there are usually settings in Energy Saving or similar)
